How government property can deliver better outcomes for people and places
10 September 2024

Launching our inaugural Festival of Government Property, for this first edition of the one-day event we are exploring how we can improve the profession’s diversity as well as diving into decarbonisation and the use of assets.

The festival will be hosted both in person at the LocatED offices and online, allowing participation for property professionals across the country.

There will also be an opportunity for networking at lunchtime: in person for the early careers networking , and a virtual speed network event for online delegates.

*A fishbowl discussion is a technique for organising large group discussions – you have seated participants (the four of five, with one as chairperson, plus an empty seat) in the fishbowl and the audience is outside the bowl, listening. Once the fish have spoken, provoked etc, any audience member that has something to add to the discussion can join the empty chair but one of the original fishes then has to leave (they can come back at a later point!) The point being that you get as many different viewpoints and discussions going as possible.
