In-house Property Solicitor

The In-house Property Solicitor will be responsible for overseeing the provision of transactional support from external Legal Advisors via a framework for all free school property transactions. This will include leasehold and freehold acquisitions, as well as mixed-use schemes delivered with development partners. As an in house legal advisor, the In-house Property Solicitor will also play an important role in supporting the Legal Counsel in their role as chief Legal Advisor to LocatED’s board and senior management team.

Drive the provision of an integrated Asset Management service so that the value of the portfolio is protected and enhanced. Specifically, this includes:
• Ensuring portfolio properties are statutory compliant and secure though suitable Facilities Management (FM) arrangements.
• Driving value through optimising costs and ensuring value for money through the supply chain
• Increasing portfolio value and revenue enhancement from active asset management of commercial leases and wider entrepreneurial and commercial initiatives and “out of the box thinking”.
• Engaging strongly with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).

Executive Assistant - Chief Executive

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive (CE) is responsible for providing a comprehensive support service to the CE to ensure all aspects of the business run smoothly and in compliance with governance requirements.
